New footage from India
Pediatric cancer ward in an Indian hospital
As many of you know, we were very disappointed that we could not make it through India on our round the world trip last May. Thanks to Georges Mollon of the International Agency for Research on Cancer, we now have footage.
Indeed, Georges left for India about ten days ago and spent a full week there filming at the Tata Memorial Center as well as throughout the rest of the country. We have only just started looking at the footage and, frankly, it will add a new dimension to the film. Georges has brought back some powerful and useful images both inside the medical setting and outside, in streets and neighbourhoods. Rural India was not missed either, adding to our lifestyle section.
Tobacco is also part of the footage, notably all forms of non-smoking tobacco uses. A big thank you to Georges and to IARC for making this happen.
