Team and facilities

The naturaprint service has two valuable resources.

Team

Naturaprint's management is dedicated to printing. The team is also dedicated to gender equality. Delphine and Véronique are, indeed, a unique printing facility management team. Few facilities can boast having two women as its managers.

In Delphine’s words...

“We have always offered recycled papers, but we knew that was not enough. We wanted to do more. The entire facility has undergone a major upgrade as we aim to offer the most responsible, high–quality printing service in Central Europe.”

Their staff have the same vision and commitment. Whether on the print floor or in the back office, naturaprint delivers on their green promise.

Facility

Our showcase facility is 50 kilometers from Geneva in the heart of France’s Haute–Savoie. The facility conforms fully with green certifications including the French ‘Imprim' vert’ label issued by the Chamber of Commerce.

Jobs that go beyond the capacity of our Alby-sur-Chéran facility, are printed in satellite facilities which are mostly within a 100km radius to avoid excess travel between them.

Our offer

naturaprint is a full service facility.

• We print all types of output ranging from the simplest one sheet jobs such as a business card or poster, to a brochure or book or even complex presentation folders.
  • Of note, we are highly experienced at producing comprehensive campaign materials.
• We deliver worldwide and handle transport, custom formalities and multiple destination dispatching.
• We reprint at reduced cost up to two years after the original run.

Papers & Inks

We are committed to using papers and inks that are ranked highest in their respect of the environment. In the case of papers, we offer, in this order:

1. Fully recycled post-consumption stock
2. FSC and PEFC stock made from managed forests or or mill surplus
3. Paper types that are unavailable as recycled or managed-forest papers

We are committed to using inks that come from vegetable sources, such as rapeweed. All our inks are, therefore, biodegradable. We do not use petroleum–based inks.

Facility practices

There is no way to avoid all polluting products. If someone sends you a parcel that is wrapped in non–biodegradable plastic, you have to dispose of it. Our difference is that the plastic does not go into the standard trash, it gets recycled. The same care goes into all our practices. Here are some details.

• Any products that can be recycled, are recycled.
• We use rags and clean them. We do not use disposable, paper towels.
• We recycle our ink.
• We recycle our empty ink boxes.
• We recycle our printing plates.
• We manage our electricity consumption.
• We engage in due diligence of suppliers to ensure they meet our own strict standards.

Products used for production

• Our inks are 100% vegetable-based. We use no petroleum–based inks.
• Our machines are cleaned with V60 products that are far less polluting than VM111.
• When we need glue, we use liquid glue instead of spray glue.

Our upcoming improvements

• Use of recycled packing materials (including wrapping sheets)
• Use of fair trade materials and products

Decent work

Our staff is our strength. If they are not committed to the highest standards of excellence, there is no way that we can produce high quality output. We know this.
